HRINZ HR Awards 08/09
The HRINZ HR Awards, run by the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand, is designed to recognise excellence within New Zealand’s HR community.
The Awards were first established in 1999 and over the years have grown to incorporate new categories to best reflect the ongoing changes with in the HR Industry.
Entries for the 2008/09 Awards open on the 1st of August (entries close on 1 October)
The 2008/09 HRINZ HR Awards will consist of four categories:
- HRINZ HR Initiative of the Year
- HRINZ HR Person of the Year, including:
- HRINZ Generalist HR Person of the Year, in association with Mt Eliza
- HRINZ Specialist HR Person of the Year, in association with Haines
- HRINZ Young HR Practitioner of the Year, in association with Wheeler Campbell
All entries will be judged by a Regional Judging Panel and regional award winners will be acknowledged with either a Merit or Distinction award. These regional awards will be announced at a regional HRINZ Branch events during November 2008.
All entries acknowledged with a Distinction Award will then be forwarded to a National Judging Panel who will short list entrants for national judging.
The final part of the judging process will take place in Wellington on Thursday 26th of February 2009, and the overall winners will be announced later that evening at a black tie Gala Dinner & Award Presentation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you and your HR team to be recognised by not only your peers but also the wider business community. They provide both individuals and HR teams with the opportunity to take part in a process of discovery, acknowledgment and achievement which provides a special focus on the value that HR adds to organisations.
